Adella Jones

Adella Huffman Jones, 90, of Selma passed away on March 28, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Roy S. Jones, Sr and her son, Roy S. Jones, Jr (Yvonne) of Demopolis.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her two children, daughter, Dea Rogers (Billy) of Powder Springs, Ga. and son, Alan (Harriette) of Selma, eight grandchildren; Brad Rogers, Deidre Rogers, Samuel Jones, Summer Mims, Dr. Bryan Jones, Kalee Peak, Mallory Kelley, and Lauren Smtih; four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Reverend Alan Yarbrough officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Active Pallbearers will be Dillon Peak, Ron Kelley, Harrison Smith, Brad Rogers, Will Bamberg, and Billy Rogers.

The Family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Cahaba Hospice and her faithful sitters: Linda McDonald, Synethia Holifield, Gloria Gamble, Mary Shelton, and Edith Ruffin.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Alabama Teen Challenge or Crosspoint Christian Church building fund.
