Agnes Free

Agnes Mitchell Free, born August 23, 1929 to the late Dennis Mitchell and Zena Floyd Mitchell, passed away November 7, 2015 at the age of 86 at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery following a brief illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James T. Free; daughter, Kay Free Thomley; brothers, Hascil Mitchell, Pete Mitchell and Willis Mitchell and sister, Jurl Schofield.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Free (T.J.) Etheridge; son, James Free; son-in-law, Roy Thomley; granddaughters, Kerry Etheridge (Allen) Henderson, Rhonda Etheridge (Sam) Brown and Melissa Thomley (Will) Tate; great-grandchildren, Jackson Henderson, Gunnar Henderson, Cade Henderson, Brayton Brown, Bailey Brown, Nathan Tate, Gatlin Tate and Shannon Tate; sister, Joyce Mitchell (Bob) Lynch, Katherine Thomas; brothers, Wendell Mitchell and Havard (Jeaine) Mitchell and Special Friends, Irene Burkhalter and Mae Caver.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Will Tate, Sam Brown, Allen Henderson, Jackson Henderson, Gunnar Henderson and Brayton Brown.
