Albert Eugene Wilson age 89 of Selma, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at his home.

He was born September 14, 1932 in Sylacauga, AL to the late Freddie Wilson and the late Maggie Kelley Wilson.

He was head of maintenance for Beech Aero Space.

He is survived by his sons , Leith (Tammy) Wilson and Leonard Wilson; grandchildren, Elizabeth Wilson, Kristopher Wilson (Kirsten), Laymond Wilson, Amber Ocmand (Andrew), Tyler Wilson (Jessie), and Cody Wilson; great-grandchildren, Taylyn Ocmand, Kinslee Ocmand, Paisley Ocmand, Chandler Wilson, Colt Wilson, Parker Wilson, and Lawson Bridgman; and sister, Bernell Wilson Sanders (Billy).

He is preceded in death by his parents, Freddie and Maggie Wilson; step-mother, Beulah Wilson; wife, Alva Lois Wilson; and siblings, James Wilson, James Bailey, and John Bailey.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga at 2:00 p.m..

Pallbearers will be family.
