Alma Jean Davis Christian

Alma Jean Davis Christian of Selma passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa at the age of 72.

She was born in Chilton County, Alabama to the late Edmund H. Davis and the late Murvis E. Sewell Davis. 

She was a delivery driver in the auto parts industry as well as a bus driver.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse Christian; children, Pamela Stahl, Michael Eugene Christian, Curtis Edmond (Valerie) Christian, James "Pud" (Vickie) Smith; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Sandra Gail Lawley, Shirley Bush and Mary Ann Payne.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ronnie Davis, Sonny Davis; and son-in-law, John Stahl.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Shane D. Ogle officiating. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Internment will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Stanton, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Selma Funeral Home of Valley Grande, Alabama.
