Angie Pardue

Angie Lynn McCay Pardue passed away January 12, 2025 at the age of 47. She was born October 11, 1977 in Birmingham, Alabama to Vickie McCay and the late Howard McCay.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly David Pardue, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Raven Pardue and Jada Pardue; grandson, Kaiden "Dierks" Cochran and sisters, Amanda McCay and Jennifer (Bo) Jackson.

Angie had a profound love for her children, but it was her grandson, whom she affectionately called Dierks, who held the title of the apple of her eye. Their bond was a beautiful tapestry woven from endless hours spent together, filled with laughter, fun, and cherished moments. Angie’s devotion to her family was unmatched, and she took immense pride in being a second mother to all of her children's friends, always extending her nurturing spirit to those who stepped through her door.

A spirited enthusiast of Alabama Football, Angie wore her team colors with pride on game days, her enthusiasm contagious to all around her. She had a special love for white roses, cherishing their beauty and elegance much like the life she led. Those who shared in her passion for the great outdoors were treated to thrilling rides on four-wheelers, where Angie's zest for adventure shone brightly amid the laughter and camaraderie of family and friends.

Angie's legacy is ever-present in the hearts of her loved ones. Her memory will be celebrated in the stories shared, the laughter that echoes in quiet moments, and the unconditional love that she so freely gave. In every gathering, in every laugh remembered, Angie will remain a cherished part of each life she touched, a comforting presence that will forever resonate as a symbol of love, joy, and family.

We will carry her spirit forward, always reminiscing about the beautiful moments she gifted us, and with heavy hearts, we say goodbye to a remarkable woman who will be deeply missed.

A memorial gathering will be held at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 5:00-6:00 p.m.
