Annetta Littlejohn Sexton age 83 of Selma, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma. She was born in Chilton County, Alabama on September 23, 1937 to the late Herman Littlejohn and the late Gertie Lowery Littlejohn.
She was a former inspector with the Philly Cigar Factory.
She is survived by her daughter, Weida (Robert) Sheehan; 5 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Jackie (Ann) DeLoach and Terry Ann Littlejohn; nieces and nephews, Pam (Dorus) VanderLaan, Kenneth (Kathy) DeLoach, and Rena (Robert) Sims; 3 great-nieces; and 4 great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Gertie Littlejohn; husband, Wilbur Edwards; husband, Cecil Sexton; daughter, Wanda Gail Edwards; and great-grandchildren, Lacey Traywick and Jarrett Traywick.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Johnson and Rev. John Barfoot officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Friday the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Drew Friday, Michael Williams, Wesley Friday, Joseph Bender, Chris Friday, and Steven Traywick.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Epperson, Ronnie Adams, Bruce Harris, Dorus VanderLaan, and the Deacons of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Selma Funeral Home.
