Annie Lee McHugh, 96, a native and lifelong resident of Orrville, AL died at 10:40 AM Friday, November 15, 2013. She was born November 27, 1916.
She is the daughter of the late Mary Edna Hillman McHugh and John Joseph McHugh. She is the sister of the late John Gene McHugh, Levi McHugh, Julius McHugh, Joseph McHugh, Tommy Reed McHugh, Marion McHugh, Mary Edna Cottingham, William Patrick McHugh and Mildred "Doll" Harrison.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews, and great, great, nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs.
Annie Lee was very independent and loved caring for her cattle and dogs. She was self-employed as a business owner and cattle farmer. She loved spending her time in the outdoors doing things on her farm.
Ms. McHugh was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Orrville, AL.
The visitation will be 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, November 17, 2013 and 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Monday, November 18, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Orrville, AL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Stephen Hornat, SSE on Monday, November 18, at 11:00 AM, 2013. Services will be directed by Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.
The burial will be at Orrville Cemetery.
