Asa Reign Johnson graced this world with her presence on September 14, 2023, and left a lasting impact before departing on March 14, 2024. She will be dearly missed and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In the fleeting six months that Asa graced this world with her presence, she brought boundless joy and love into the lives of all who were blessed to know her. Her smile, a beacon of light in our lives, and her laughter, a melody that resonated in our hearts, will be profoundly missed. As we navigate this deep sea of sorrow from her untimely departure, we find solace in our cherished memories and the profound love we shared with her during her brief time here on this earth.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we are comforted by the unwavering belief that Asa is now cradled in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In this time of unimaginable grief, we cling to our faith, knowing that she is at peace in a place of divine love and eternal light. We are grateful for the time we had with our beloved Asa, however short it may have been. Each moment was a gift, a precious memory that we will hold dear in our hearts forever.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Asa's life will be held on March 19, 2024, at the Church at the Brook in Millbrook, Alabama at 11:00 a.m. with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma directing. She will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery, at Prattville Memorial.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Thomas Allen Johnson great-grandparents Sylvia Irene, Ray Warren Hines, Ollie Mae, John David Dennis, Patricia Ann Irwin, John Wayne Harlow; great-aunt Deborah Elaine Hines and cousins Lauson Quade Maddox and Emberlynn Nyx Carmi Fletcher, Asa's.
Asa is survived by her parents Justin and Brittney Johnson; her sister Lily Johnson; brothers Noah Johnson and Judah Johnson; grandparents David and Teresa Horne, Tammy Louise Johnson, Richard Wayne Harlow; great-grandparents Bill and Jean Horne and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
As we say our earthly goodbyes to Asa, we are reminded of the unbreakable bond of love that family and faith provide. She was a beautiful spirit, a reminder of the fragility of life and the strength of love. In her memory, we vow to cherish each day, love deeply, and keep faith in our hearts. We take comfort in knowing that we will one day be reunited with our precious Asa in the glory of Heaven, where joy knows no bounds and love is everlasting.
