Aubrey Lovelady

Aubrey Dayton Lovelady, 80, of Selma died Friday, May 29, 2009 after a sudden illness. A memorial service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 1, 2009 at Church Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Earl Watson and Rev. Butch Cousins officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service directing. Mr. Lovelady is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Kay and Inez Lovelady; brother, Terry Lovelady. Mr. Lovelady is survived by his wife, Dorothy ���Dot��� Lovelady; sons, Randall Lovelady (Gail) and Terrell Lovelady (Connie); grandchildren, Fran Bruner (Mike), Ryan Lovelady, Meagan Foster, and Haley Foster; a very special great grandson, Hayden Bruner; and a sister, Ruth Walker. The family will receive friends at the home of Randall and Gail Lovelady, 112 Speir Place, Selma, AL 36701 on Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 3-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Plantersville United Methodist Church, 145 Alabama Highway 22, Platersville, AL 36758, where he was a life long member.
