Barbara Rush

Barbara Ann Rush, age 65, of Selma, AL, passed away August 17, 2012. Barbara loved her church, family, the Valley Grande community and was a friend to all she came in contact with. She had a card ministry that touched many lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Vashti Rush; grandparents, Will D. and Ruth Rush and Harvey and Bertie Seymore. She is survived by her aunts, Mattie (Leonard) Stewart, Frances Harrison, Sarah (Jimmy) White and Maggie Seymore, and numerous cousins, many church friends, and special friend Dana Brech. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Kopp and Rev. Sandy Simmons officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the funeral service at the church, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Steven White, Dr. Todd Sherrer, Dr. Julian Howell, Dr. David Vega, Dr. Fema Aquino and Amedisys Hospice of Tuscaloosa. Pallbearers will be Allen Stewart, Joe Harrison, Roger Seymore , Steve Stewart, Burk Seymore, Larry Harrison and Dave Seymore. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Pink Lady Auxiliary, Court Yard Apartment Residents and the Friday Ladies Group.
