Ms. Barbara Anne Thomas age 74, of Plantersville passed away on Friday July 3, 2009 at her home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Plantersville Christian Church with Rev. Mike Wyatt officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the church from 6-8 p.m. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Margaret Harrison of Plantersville; sons, Clarke (Donna) McCord of Collierville, TN, Victor McCord of Houston, TX, and Jeff McCord of Austin, TX; six grandchildren, Shondell (Rodney) Beckey of Scofield Barracks, Hawaii, Alyse McCord, Coleman McCord, Ian McCord, Graeme McCord, and Cameron McCord all of Collierville, TN; four great grandchildren, Gavin, Zander, Braxton, and Alex Beckey all of Scofield Barracks, Hawaii; brother, Ronald Davis (Lynne) of Valley Grande; Aunt, Virginia Johnson of Little Rock, AR; nieces and nephews, Bob Davis of Abilene, TX, Nina Davis of Austin, TX, Mary Elizabeth Davis of Austin, TX, and Mike (Sharon) D���Curtins of Decatur, AL; and many many friends in Plantersville and Selma. Active Pallbearers will be Mac Martin, Darrell Goodwin, Charles Goodwin, Allen Goodwin, David Oliver, and John Murphy. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenneth Carroll, Noodie Carroll, Bennie Simmons, Bill Martin, John Pomeroy, Bobby O���Neal, Mike Blair, Harold Willis, Nelson Andrews, Steve Simpson, Tommy Jo Fulford, Stan Franklin, and Gib VonSchmittou. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Plantersville Christian Church.
