Beatrice Posey Godwin, age 93, died May 27, 2010 at Park Place Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday June 1, 2010 at Pineview Memory Gardens with Bert English and Bert English Jr. officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara English; son, Thomas Godwin (Rhonda); grandchildren, Jacqueline Hudson (Ernie), Bert English Jr. (Jennifer), Jason Godwin (Kerry); great-grandchildren, Forrest Hudson, Hunter Hudson, Coby Hudson, Luke English, Mason English, Grant English, Laigan Godwin and Kyler Godwin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lovid Eskew Godwin, parents, Judge and Mrs. James Francis Posey, brothers, John Posey, Moody Posey, Paul Posey, Travis Posey, Vernon Posey, Fred Posey, Rufus Posey and Stanley Posey; sisters, Ruth Posey Flora Dismukes and Ora Thomas and many nieces and nephews.
