Beatrice Helen Horton, age 87, of Selma, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016.
She is preceded by her husband: C.W. Horton; parents: Lester and Gertrude Chandler; and siblings: Nelson Chandler, Vivian Martin, Maudine Carter, and MacArthor Chandler.
Mrs. Horton is survived by her sisters: Edna Gray, Flora Spangenberg (George), Marie Michel (Bob), Barbara Mull; brother in law: Charlie Horton (Mary), sister in law: Nell White, Catherine Horton; friend: Margie Rhodes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in the chapel at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Linda Tarver officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Forrest Butts, Hunter Butts, Josh Buxton, Duke Martin, Ronnie Mull, and Allen Martin.
Honorary pallbearers are: Mason Harris, Lowell Butts, Tony Butts and nephews: Robert Gray and David Buxton.
