Bermer Shepard

Bermer (Bucky) Jenkins Shepard, Jr. passed away December 5, 2022 at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital

in Pensacola, Florida at the age of 68.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Janice Sue (Charles) McCloud; father and

stepmother, Bermer (Buck) Jenkins (Patsy) Shepard, Sr.; stepbrother, Richard Goude; brother-in-law,

Gary Wade Smith, Sr.; and nephew, Gary Wade Smith. Jr.

He is survived by his sister, Debra Jean (Charlie) Davenport; stepsister, Susie Burnside; stepbrother, Scott

(Diana) Goude; stepsister, Becky (Bart) Cruz; stepbrother, Mike (Sue) McCloud; stepbrother, Larry

(Cheryl) McCloud; brother-in-law, Bobby (April) Smith; niece, Sandy (James) Mills; nephew, Davy

(Christa) Davenport; friend, Cedric Williams.

Bucky loved to fish and hunt. He had an affinity for the Irish Setter breed of dogs and had two special

ones as beloved pets in his lifetime, Sandra and Buckshot, who brought him much joy. Bucky was retired

from Globe Metallurgical, Inc.

The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022 with services to follow at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Rod Rochester officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery

Pallbearers will be Bobby Smith, Shawn Smith, Dylan Smith, James Mills, Johnny Davenport and
Richard Davenport.
