Bermer Shepard

Bermer "Buck" Jenkins Shepard, age 83 of Selma, died June 27, 2012 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Watson; grandson, Wade Smith; son, Richard Goude and son-in-law, Jimmy Burnside. He survived by his wife of 47 years, Pasty Stone Shepard of Selma; sons, Bermer "Bucky" Shepard, Jr and Scott Goude (Wendy).; daughters, Debra (Gary) Smith of Valley Grande, Becky (Bart) Cruz of Valley Grande and Susie Burnside of Valley Grande; brother, Jim (Bambi) Young of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Sandy (James) Mills, Jessica Cruz, Jordan Cruz, Christy (Keith) Bedsole, Chris (Melinda) Palmer, Mandy Curry, Jimbo (Ashley) Burnside, Deanna Goude, Angela Goude, Avery Goude, McKenna Goude, Brandon Goude and Cooper Goude and 8 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday June 29, 2012 at Pineview Memorial Gardens with Reverend George Taylor officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home Friday.

Pallbearers will be Terry Sanders, Garnet Stancil, Jimmy McCullough, Darren Yarborough, Duck Hoggle and Bobby Sanders.
