Bernice Waldrop Brown, age 94, of Selma, died Sunday January 9, 2011. She is survived by her sister, Mattie Harris of Jonesboro, GA; son, Vlencon L. Brown (Renee Sue) of Selma; grandchildren, Lawson Brown of Valley Grande, Jason Brown (Heather) of Marietta, GA, Vanessa Brown of Selma and Shane MaComb (Amanda) of Valley Grande; great-grandchildren, Bryant Brown, Dayne Brown, Chase MaComb and Kendall MaComb and special friend, Shirley MaComb.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 12, 2011 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Reverend Robert Bayne officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday January 11, 2011.
Pallbearers will be Lawson Brown, Jason Brown, Shane MaComb, Zack Daniels, Keith Harris and Charles Harris.
Mrs. Brown was a longtime member of Fairview Baptist Church.
