Visitation is scheduled for Monday, September 28, 2009 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Norman Williams and Linda Tarver. Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Peggy Sue; her parents, James and Geneva Williams; her brothers, Clarence, Carson, Charlie and Allen Williams and her sisters, Jettie Moore and Mary Evelyn Landers.
Survivors include her spouse, J. D. Willis; children, Joyce Willis, Dorothy Nell and Lew (Bobby) Jones, Grace Willis, Elizabeth Ann and Lewis Stone, Linda Staggers, Harold and Wanda Willis, Richard and Gayle Willis, Janice and Don McConnell, Martha and Claude Holbrook, Judy and Ray Duncan and David and Carolyn Willis; grandchildren, Ray and Pam Cook, Sonia Cook, Phyllis and William Ross, Lew and Sherri Jones, Jon and Tammy Jones, Scott Stone, Erik and Shannon Poole, Ken and Yvonne Willis, Nicole Willis, Keith Willis, Blake Willis, Sommer and Chris Pugh, Jennifer and Tracy Grant, Chad and Amanda Holbrook, Christopher and Farrin Holbrook, Justin Willis and Brian Willis; great-grandchildren, Andy Cook, Timothy Burnett, Daniela and Daniel Moore, Joshua Jones, Steven Jones, Jered and Lindsey Jones, Kristian Jones, Jessica Jones, Morgan Stone, Adam Stone, Nathan Johnson, Allen Johnson, Ali Johnson, Olivia Grant and William Grant; great-great-grandchildren, Zoe Moore and Aiden Moore; one sister, Bessie Jones and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ray Cook, Jr., Lew Jones, Jr., Jon Jones, Erik Poole, Ken Willis, Scott Stone, Blake Willis, Keith Willis, Chad Holbrook, Christopher Holbrook, Justin Willis, and Brian Willis and all other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Asera Care Hospice, 1013 Medical Center Pkwy., Suite 103, Selma, AL, 36701.
