Betty Cale

Betty Ruth Phillips Cale, age 86, of Selma, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019.

Services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Jimbo Small officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is preceded by her husband: Allen Cale; parents: Howard Clyde and Corrie Estelle (Berry) Phillips; sister: Barbara Dell Phillips; and brother: William Howard Phillips.

Mrs. Cale is survived by her daughters: Rhonda Kay Cale, Donna Faye Thornell; sons: Robert Micheal Harper, Jeffery Lynn Cale; grandchildren: Michael Shane Hatfield, Crystal Rheaume; great grandchildren: Nolan Alan Rheaume, Catherine Olivia Perry,  and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Cale worked for F.W. Woolworth and Carter’s Drug in Selma for many years as a salesperson and was well liked by many for her kind and thoughtful ways.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Shane Hatfield, Robert Harper, Jeffery Lynn Cale, Joshua Shoultz, David Sanders, and Travis
