Betty Gandy

Betty Jean Gandy age 67 of Selma passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on Tuesday February 3, 2010 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday February 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Summerlin and Shane Ogle officiating with burial following at Alpine Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Gandy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Leighton Gandy, her children, Sue Hunter (Mark), Leighton ���Shorty��� Gandy (Tonya), Kenneth ���Cookie��� Gandy, Jeff Gandy (Betty Sue), Sharron Lawrence (Jeff), Richard Gandy, Travis Gandy (Missy). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christy, Brandon, Bryant, Michael, Matt, Brittany, Nicki, Zach, Phillip, Ashley, Jeremy, Jody, Haley, Devin, Dawson, 14 great-grandchildren, her sisters, Linda Faye Paulk and Barbara Skelton (Charlie), and a host of special nieces, nephews, and her beloved cats.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Madison, Bryant Hunter, Michael Gandy, Jeremy Lawrence, Jody Lawrence, Zach Gandy, Devin Gandy, Matt Gandy, Dawson Gandy, Phillip Hemphill and Steven Johnson.
The family will receive friends on Friday February 5, 2010 from 6-8 at the funeral home.
