Betty Grindle

Betty Coon Grindle, age 78, of Selma, AL, passed away March 10, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. E. "Billy" Grindle. Surviving are her sons, David (Mary Van) Grindle and Don (Katherine) Grindle; daughter, Kathy (Lou) Brady; sister, Joyce (Johnny) Vestal; sister-in-law, Laura Grindle Bender; grandchildren, Michelle (Blake) Jones, Matthew Mooney, Will Grindle, Zach Grindle, Matthew (Christine) Grindle, Walker Grindle and Meg Grindle and great-grandchildren, Byron Jones, Jack Jones and Addison Grindle. Funeral services will be Friday, March 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Father Steve Bates officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Matthew Mooney, Will Grindle, Zach Grindle, Matthew Grindle, Walker Grindle and Blake Jones. The family will accept flowers or memorial donations may be made to Cahaba Hospice, 410 Church Street, Selma, AL 36701.
