Betty Lane Goodwin Hamm

Betty Lane Goodwin Hamm passed away January 26, 2025 at the age of 93. She was born January 19, 1932 to the late Henry Clayton Goodwin and Eva Strickland Goodwin. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Hamm; brother, James (Daisy) Goodwin and grandson, Sherman Hamm.

She is survived by her children, Marie (Glenn) Gibbs, Curtis (Alesia) Hamm; grandchildren, Tonya (Russell) Lawley, Kevin (Shana) Gibbs, Eva (Nick) Everson; great-grandchildren, Corey (Hollie) Lawley, Keelei Battle, Colton Gibbs, Maverick Everson and Masen Everson; great-great-grandchildren, Rilynn Campbell, Aubrey Campbell and Cannon Lawley and brother, William (Janice) Goodwin.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Timothy Richburg and Bro. Ferrell Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice for the care they gave her and a special thank you to Yolanda Jackson for taking such good care of her over the last several months.
