Betty Lucas

Betty Hurst Lucas passed away August 2, 2018 at the age of 91. She was born October 26, 1926 to the late Henry Lee Hurst and Bertha Lee Burge Hurst.

She has been reunited with her husband, Harbard Claxton Lucas; son; John Harbard Lucas; her parents; brothers, Bill, James, Harris, Jack and Robert Hurst and sister, Martha Denson.

She is survived by her daughters, Vickie (John) Grimes and Jane Hurst; grandchildren, Christi (Chad) Wilson, Russ (Amy) Grimes, Calley Coefield, Josiah (Alicia) Coefield, Ena (Alex) Hennessee and William Coefield; great-grandchildren, Jack Wilson, Matt Wilson, Rett Wilson, Lillian Grimes, Esther Grimes, A.J. Coefield, Aila Coefield and Josiah Coefield, Jr.; sister, JoAnn (Fred J.) Huber; brothers, Don (Alice) Hurst and Forrest Hurst and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Chaplain Luis Orteza officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home before the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
