Betty Hayes

Betty Ruth Hayes age 78, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Gordon Headley, Earnest Headley, Edward Headley, Shorty Headley and Dewey Headley; sisters, Marie Victor and Minnie Manderson. She is survived by her husband, Carl E. Hayes, Sr.; children, Frances Patterson, Carlene Strickland, Ed (Katie) Hayes and Glen (Teresa) Hayes; brothers, E.J. Headley and Huey Headley; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home with Brother Larry Stover officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 5 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ed Hayes, Glen Hayes, Chad Hayes, Trent Jackson, Tyler Thrash, Joe Davis and Butch Patterson. The family will be accepting flowers or donations to Praise Park Ministries Church of the Nazarene 1 Big Pine Drive, Valley Grande, AL 36701
