Betty Jo Webb Whaley

Betty Jo Webb Whaley, age 86 of Marion, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Southland Nursing Home in Marion, Alabama. 

She was born in Marion, Alabama on November 4, 1937 to the late Otto Webb and Josephine Nichols Webb.

She was a former hairdresser.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Hughey (Stacy); grandchildren, Farron Silverman (Eric), Natalie Johnson (Nathan), Brandon Hughey (Hope); great-grandchildren, Harper Silverman, Hudson Silverman, Peyton Johnson, Rhett Johnson, Crawford Hughey, and Gracyn Hughey; sister, Faye Roye; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Sherry Doran; and her husbands, Offie Lee McCauley and Charles Whaley.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mars Hill Cemetery in Marion, Alabama with Rev. John Nicholson officiating. 

There will be no visitation, everyone please meet at the cemetery. 

Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the care of the Selma Funeral Home of Valley Grande, Alabama.
