Mrs. Bonnie Sue Cook age 80, the wife of Mr. Raymond L. Cook, Sr. of Tyler, passed away on Sunday June 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by family and friends.
She was born in Alabama on December 10, 1941 to the late Clarence Stoker and the late Belvie Jane Rainey Stoker.
She was a former supervisor with the cigar factory.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond L. Cook, Sr.; children, Ray Cook, Jr. (Pam), Christie Whittington (Phillip), Sonia Cook (Angie Clark), Cindy Reichenbach (Tim), and Phyllis Ross; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, William Ross; and siblings, Jimmie Nell Price, Jacob Stoker, and Jerry Diane Jacobs.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Linda Tarver officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The family would like extend a special thanks to Mary Nese Burton, Southern Care Hospice, and Dr. Park Chittom, Sr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Highland United Methodist Church or Union United Methodist Church.
Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the care of Selma Funeral Home.
