Mrs. Bonnie Mitchell Morris of Selma passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma. She was born in Perry County, AL on June 11, 1945 to the late Allie Ingram and the late Annie Mae Nichols Ingram.
She was a former retail manager.
She is survived by her husband, W.E. Morris; children, James (Jeanie) Mitchell, William (Mary) Mitchell, Teresa (Henry) Swindle, Tammy (Greg) Parr, Darrell (Jennifer) Morris, and Michael Morris; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 2:00 pm from the Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gervis Smith officiating.
Interment will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Norman Dunkin, Thomas C. Dunkin, Greg Parr, Corey Carter, Wayne Morris, and Michael Morris.
Honorary pallbearers will be Comer Dunkin, Matthew Morris, Tristan Mitchell, and Christian Mitchell.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Park Chittom, Jr., Dr. Richard Johnson, and the Vaughan Regional Medical Center ICU Nursing Staff.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Selma Funeral Home.
