Brian Sanderson

Brian Douglas “Shorty” Sanderson passed away September 3, 2021 at the age of 35.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Henry Sanderson and Ruth Marie Danzey Sanderson.

He is survived by his wife – the love of his life, Lisa Head Sanderson; son, Grayson Henry Sanderson; fur-baby, Marley; mother, Kathryn Friday (Robert) Simpkins; father, Clifford Henry (Sheri) Sanderson; grandparents, J.V. and Ellen “Boots” Friday – dubbed, “Pop and Bootsie”; step-sister, LeeAnn (Chris Cochran and their daughter, Kali; step-brother, Jay (Linda) Wood and their son, J.R.; mother and father-in-law, Ed and Sheila Worrell and sister-in-law, Amy and her son, Wes.; many aunts and uncles; a tight-knit group of cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Sanders officiating. A private burial will be at Friday Family Cemetery. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m., before the service.

The family respectfully asks that everyone wear a face covering and practice appropriate social distancing.
