Calbert W. Colee
Calbert W. Colee, age 85, of Jones, passed away Wednesday February 29, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruby Weaver Colee; daughters, Connie Fowlkes (Clayton), Nora Boyd (Johnny), Christy Colee; sons, William Robert Colee (Nikki), John Philip Colee; brother, Leland Colee (Pat), of Surprise, AZ., 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Colee was a member of the Maplesville Masonic Lodge and a deacon for over 50 years at a Baptist Church.
Services will be held at Saturday March 3, 2012, at 2:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church, in Jones, with Rev. Stoney Barbee and Rev. Ed Eaton officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. on Friday.
Pallbearers will be, Johnny Pickering, Jimmy Pickering, Eugene Pickering, James Weaver, Trey Haisten, and Jeremy Green.
Honorary pallbearers will be, Henry Rasberry, Bill Grover, Thomas Blue, Phillip Chandler, and Keith McCullough.
In Lieu of flowers please send memorials to Bethel Baptist Church or American Heart Association.
