Carlie Fountain

Carlie D. Fountain, age 83, a resident of Selma, AL, passed away May 31, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Heath Fountain. Surviving are her son, James Larry Fountain; daughters, Lila Ruth Smith and Brenda Kay Bickerstaff; brother, Coleman Thaddeous Smith; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren' niece, Marie Bearden and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, June 1, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Monday, June 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rod Rochester officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
