Carol Rainwater

Carol Brown Rainwater, age 65, of Selma, AL, passed away November 15, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve "Frog" Rainwater and son, Daniel Rainwater. She is survived by her son, Rodney (Gail) Rainwater; daughter, Stephanie (Jeff) Crawford; brothers, Ben (Johnette) Brown and David (Leslie) Brown; sisters, Emma Brown Elijah and Susan Brown Hall and five grandchildren, Ashley Anders, Laiton Crawford, Elissa Rollins, Nicholas Buss and Shelby Crawford Wilson; six great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Frances Rainwater; sisters-in-law, Linda (Bobby) Busby and Karen (Steve) Mott. Funeral services will be Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Junior Duke officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 5-7:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Bobby Busby, Lee Busby, Sam Mott, Eddie Shumate, Eddie Rolen, Ricky Rawlings and Reese Green. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Chandler, Steve Banks, Dr. Clower, Dr. Anderson, Dr. Sherrer, Curtis Johnson and Kerry Horton. Carol started the Closed Head Injury organization for Dallas County. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Alacare.
