Carolyn Martin

Carolyn Arant Martin, age 67, of Selma, AL, passed away August 27, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Prender and Rubye Arant. Surviving are her husband, Daniel Martin; children, Janna Martin Bauskar, Jonathan (Joy) Martin, Joshua (Julia) Martin and Joseph (Kathleen) Martin; sister, Marilyn White; brothers, Kenneth Arant, Charles Haye and Clyde Hay; a deeply loved aunt, Margaret Weldon, and thirteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Daniel Martin, Rev. Mark Andrews and Rev. Lee Tate officiating. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Brookside Cemetery in Millbrook at 12:30 p.m. with Selma Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Martin, Joshua Martin, Joseph Martin, Lalit Bauskar, Johnny Traylor and John Earl Harris. Carolyn found joy in her service with Operation Christmas Child. She loved to sing and performed "The Messiah" with the Selma Choral Society for many years. Carolyn loved and was loved by the Bethel Church family. The family would like to thank Dr. Park Chittom, Sr. and Southern Care Hospice for their loving care.
