She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Rylee.
Carolyn is survived by her sons, Cecil (Kim) Rylee, James Rylee and William T. Rylee; daughter, Terrie (Calvin) Daniels; brother, Bill (Elaine) Harris; sister, Sue (Ken) Sutter; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her adopted son, Randy Johnson.
Funeral services will be Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Carolyn loved her children and was very protective of them. She was very proud of her grandchildren and was thankful to have been blessed with four great-grandchildren. She also loved animals.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Selma Animal Shelter, 206 Medical Center Parkway, Selma, AL 36701 or the Make a Wish Foundation 3550 North Central Ave. Suite 300, Phoenix, AZ 85012-2127
