Carson Jones

Carson Jones, born July 20, 1943, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away April 4, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward and Bessie Lee Jones and brothers, James Edward Jones and Raymond Lee Jones. Surviving are his wife, Cathy Diane Williams Jones; children, Timothy Carson (Jones) Troha, Teresa Carol (Joe) Harrison and Angie Troha; sisters-in-law, Marion Williams and Jeanette Jones; seven grandchildren, Lindsey (Bain) Henderson, Tyler (Lauren) Dumas, Reid Dumas, Kale Troha, Casey Troha, Brittany Troha, and Quinton "Lil Man" Underwood, Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Hadley Henderson, Marley Henderson and Recara Wiggins; special niece, Dianna Chappelle and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Keith Chandler, Dr. Bob Helton and Brother Felix Baker officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 6-8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tyler Dumas, Kale Troha, Reid Dumas, Casey Troha, Quinton "Lil Man" Underwood, Jr., Dewayne Duke and Robert David Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Little and Charles Sides. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice.
