Cassie Grant, Sr.

Mr. Cassie Charles Grant, Sr. age 85 of Selma, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at his home. He was born December 14, 1934 in Greenville, AL to the late Nolan Grant and Vera Watkins Grant.
He was a former manager for ThermaGas.
He is survived by his sons, Charlie Grant, Jr. (Dena) and Larry Grant (Christie); grandchildren, Alan Grant (Kim), Jennifer G. Hightower (Drew), and Joshua Grant; great-grandchildren, Wes Grant, Harry Grant, Lily Grant, Lilli Hightower, and Landon Hightower; siblings, Christine Horton (Leo), Earl Grant (Ethel Sizemore), James Grant, Richard Grant (Betty), and Ed Grant (Robyn); and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Vera Grant and his wife, Reba L. Grant.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande with Dr. Bill Gardner officiating.
Pallbearers will be Alan Grant, Drew Hightower, Phillip Prater, Jerel Grant, Haden Grant, and Wes Grant.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 on Thursday at Selma Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Selma Funeral Home.
