Cathy Joyce Sexton Smith passed away October 14, 2015 at the age of 61.
She is preceded in death by her father, David Oscar Sexton and mother, Fannie Idell Sexton.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Luther Lawrence Smith; biological mother, Katherine Tidwell Sunderland; daughter, Sandy Joyce (Roy) Freine; grandchildren, Justin (Kayla) Freine and Mallory Joyce Freine; sister, Paula Niehoff; step-sister, Debbie (Bernard) Stallings and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial of cremains will be Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in New Live Oak Cemetery.
