Cecelia "Cel" Motley Krause

Cecelia "Cel" Motley Krause, of Selma, died unexpectedly on Saturday night, April 21, 2012, after enjoying a beautiful wedding of her nephew with family and friends. She was 69 years young.

Cel was preceded in death by her father, Leo Motley, and her mother, Gladys Wackerle Motley.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Paul Krause of Selma.
She left behind 5 loving children; Lauri Phillips (Ricky Newman) of Montgomery, Tracey Phillips of Selma, Kim Braddock (Bobby Howard) of Selma, Jonas Phillips (Kindra Phillips) of North Carolina, and Stephanie Krause (David Jones) of Georgia.
9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Her sister, Lynn Motley Myers (Bob) of Selma; and her sweet little dog Aggie.

One of the most gentle and caring people, she loved to spend time with and help her family. In fact, loving and nurturing her family was her main focus in life and she spent time every year traveling to see them. She also felt VERY blessed to be around long enough to meet her 3 great grandchildren. In her last few years, besides going to casinos, she loved sharing and playing games with family and friends on Facebook.
She was loved and respected by all that crossed her path and this weekend was to be her 50th graduation reunion at Albert G. Parish High School.

Please gather with us Kenan's Mill, 188 county rd.236, this Friday (April 27th), for a special service of remembrance and food. The services will be from 1pm till 3pm. Please come listen and share your stories about this beautiful woman with her family and friends.
