Cecilia Jones

Ms Cecilia Lucille Hull Jones of Selma, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Park Place Nursing Home in Selma at the age of 85. 

She was born in Selma on November 11, 1938.

Cecilia was a former factory worker with American Candy and the All-Lock plant here in Selma.

She is survived by daughter, Theresa Whetstone; Sons, Richard Jones, Keith (Mechelle) Jones; 10 grandchildren; along with numerous great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Jones; sons, Dennis Jones, Kenneth Jones; brothers, Cecil Hull, Richard Hull; grandson, Michael Whetstone.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 11:00 A.M from the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Rev. David Nichols officiating. 

Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Michael Kee, Blake Dewitt, Chris Jones, Cade Adams Jr, Keith Jones and David Whetstone.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M.

Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the Selma Funeral Home of Valley Grande, Alabama.
