Charles Johnson

Charles Bennett Johnson of McCalla, Alabama and formerly of Selma, Alabama passed away peacefully at his home on June 7, 2020 at the age of 73.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his brother, Robert E. Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy “Pat” Gilham Johnson; his daughter, who was his heart, Lauren Johnson (Derick) Hicks and two precious grandchildren, Baylee Nicole Hicks and Sawyer Glenn Hicks.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Shelton and Rev. Mike Chandler officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be April Shelton, Randy Gilham, Rodger Gilham, Clay Baugh, Larry Johnson and Derick Hicks. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Jarrell, Don Parnell and Ronnie Dungan.
