He was preceded in death by his parents John R. and Nena Dickson and brother, John Thomas Dickson.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Donna Dickson; niece, Holly (Jay) Jackson; nephew, John Cecil Dickson and several aunts and cousins. Charles is also survived by numerous friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home with graveside services at 11:30 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to Delores Goldsey and Dianne Cooper for all of their help and all they have done.
