Charles Driver Sr

Charles B. Driver Sr. passed away March 19, 2015 at the age of 94.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian Clifford Driver, Sr. and Gladys Courtney Driver; brother, Julian Clifford (Katherine) Driver, Jr. and sister, Louis Driver (Elmus) Morris.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Nell Witt Driver; children, Charles B. (Kathy) Driver, Jr. and Gaynor Driver (Gary) Griffin; grandchildren, Jeremy Driver, Charis Driver, Daniel Driver, Grant (Kate) Griffin and Greg (Katherine) Griffin; three great-grandchildren; special nieces, Maybeline Irwin and Betty Jean Skinner and sister-in-law, Ruth Patton.
Graveside services will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Pitts officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Heinz, Harold Spier, Steve Hamin, Daniel Driver, Jeremy Driver, Grant Griffin and Greg Griffin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider making memorial donations to First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 1186, Selma, Alabama 36702.
