Charles Golson Sr.

Charles Allen Golson, Sr., died Friday, April 7, 2017, after a brief illness.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Golson, Jr.; mother, Margie Rush Golson; and his stepmother, Shirley Giles Pelham.

Mr. Golson is survived by his wife: Judy Harris Golson; sons: Charles Allen Golson, Jr., (Dana), Christopher Scott Golson (Sherry); daughter: Peyton Golson; three grandsons, Reid Thomas Golson, Clayton Christopher Golson, and Andrew Louis Golson; one granddaughter, Caroline Peyton Daniels; sister, Sue Golson Davis (Alan); and niece, Kara Shea Krohn (David).

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Randy deBrabant officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Honorary Pallbearers will be his sons, grandsons, Michael Heath, and Milton Ezelle.
