Charles McLean

Charles Daniel McLean, age 82, of Selma, AL, passed away May 17, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ethel D. McLean; brothers, Ray McLean, Robert McLean, Davis McLean, James McLean, Grady McLean and Frank McLean and sisters, Mary Christian, Bannie Palumbo, Gracie McFarland and Lucy McLean. He is survived by his children, Charles Edward McLean, Patricia Gail Glass, Diane Smith, Chris (Tammy) McLean, Rebecah Land and Michael (Elizabeth) McLean; brother, Ernest McLean, Jr.; sisters, Edna Storey and Dorothy (Corbrey) Bailey and fifteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, May 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home with Rev. George K. Jones, Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Family members will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to Gideons International.
