Charles Trippe

Charles Tissier Trippe, 92, of Selma, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at home following a lengthy illness. He was the son of C.G. Trippe and Mabel Tissier Trippe of Dallas, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Tate Trippe and his son, Charles Tissier Trippe, Jr.
He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Elizabeth Trippe of Birmingham; son, William Hall Trippe of Selma and grandchildren Callan and Deacon Trippe of Wilmington, N.C. The family would like to acknowledge Tony Gould for his special care of their father.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Live Oak Cemetery with Lawrence Brown- Service Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
