Charles Vincent Yoho Born April 23, 1921, in New Martinsville, West Virginia, died Sunday, January 30, 2011 in Baton Rouge Louisiana. He was 89 years old. Charles was a World War II veteran who served in the US Army Air Corps and flew 28 missions over Germany in a B é��é��é�" 24 Liberator bomber as a radio operator. Charles was a West Virginia state champion diver in high school and a zero handicap golfer in his adult years, winning numerous tournaments and trophies. He retired from Kraft Foods after 24 years as a salesman and district manager. Charles is survived by two sons, the Rev. Philip R. Yoho of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Thomas K. Yoho of Costa Mesa, California; one daughter-in-law Betty Dean Yoho of Millbrook, Alabama; and seven grandchildren: Christina Yoho Griffin, Constance Yoho Wilson, Kathleen Annette Yoho, Annamarie Yoho Pasqua, Rachel Erin Yoho, Joshua Phillip Yoho, Joshaa Jali Yoho; and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joshua Earl Yoho and Inez Kathleen Bucher Yoho, his wife Evelyn Marie Jebbia Yoho, and one son, Todd Van Yoho. Charles was a member of Crosspoint Christian Church. A memorial service will be held at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2011, the Rev. Alan Yarbrough officiating. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial gifts to Crosspoint Christian Church.
