Christine Fulgham Shurden, age 88, of Tyler, died Sunday, June 12, 2011.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years: Archie Lee Shurden; son: Jimmy Lee Shurden, grandsons: Bruce Anthony Shurden, Troy Clardy, Chad Ashley Shurden and great-granddaughter: Stephanie Leigh Turner;
She is survived by her son: Bruce Shurden (Shirley), daughters: Alice Shurden Hinson( Tony) Carol Shurden Lewellen, and Katie Shurden Corley (Stewart) She is also survived by her sisters: Ruby Fulgham Reed, Dorothy Fulgham Shurden, Betty Fulgham May; 26 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Sister Springs Baptist Church in Tyler on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Robert Bayne officiating and Lawrence Brown- Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011.
Pallbearers will be Brad Turner, Mark Turner, David Turner, Chris Graham, Scott Etheridge, Stephen Turner and Jim Shurden.
