Ciegel Miley Jr

Ciegel Miley Jr, 82, of Selma died, Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Vaughn Regional Hospital. Services will be held at Northside Baptist Church Monday, November 9, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation starting at 1:00. Dr. Kenny Hatcher will be officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 8, 2009, from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
Mr. Miley was a Seaman First Class in the Navy during WWII and retired as a Line Crew Foreman with Alabama Power.
Mr. Miley is preceded in death by his brother; Earl Miley, and sisters; Lovie Mae Sellers and Louise Mims.
He is survived by his wife Peggy R. Miley of Selma and stepchildren Danny Bender of Selma, Kathy Weathers (Donald) of Valley Grande, and Patti Jacobs (Roger) of Cullman.
Wife Barbara Strickland Miley (deceased) and their children; David C. Miley (Chris) of Selma and Linda M. Walker of Prattville;
Wife Lillian Mott Miley (deceased) and stepsons; Charles Roberts (Linda) of Selma, Ricky Roberts (Sandra) of Plantersville, Mike Roberts (Carol) of Dothan, and Jon Marc Roberts (Tracy) of Clanton.
Grandchildren; Laura Miley of Cullman, David Miley Jr. of Cullman, Trey Walker of Prattville, Tony Ousley (Chris) of Billingsley, and Leslie Motley (Jim) of Billingsley, and a multitude of Great Grandchildren.
Sisters; Doris Strickland of Montgomery, Mary Crews (John) of Heiberger, Geneva McCrory (James) of Valley Grande, Betty Jean Smith of Jackson, Ms. And brother; E.J. Miley (Marilyn) of Plainfield, IL.
Pallbearers will be Larry Argo, Terry Hughes, Bruce Hutton, Bob Phillips, Henry Gibbs, and Don Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be The Harmony Sunday School Class and the Deacons of Northside Baptist Church.
