Clara Hutcheson, age 98, of Selma, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013.
She is survived by her son: Jim Hutcheson (Carol) of Columbus, GA., grandson: Matthew Hutcheson (Nicole) of Birmingham, AL; granddaughter: Mischa Nixon (Alex) of Red Lodge, MT; and daughter in law: Carolyn Hutcheson of Millbrook, AL.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Julius and Ethel Dale; husband: Lonnie Hutcheson; son: Dale Hutcheson; and 5 brothers and sisters.
She was known throughout the community for her service to the Lord and as a teacher of Bible studies.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Sidney McCollum officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The family will have a private burial following the service. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
