Clarence Julian Warren

February 16, 1942 — January 23, 2025

Buster Warren passed away January 23, 2025 at the age of 82. He was born February 16, 1942 to the late G.B. and Rella Mae Warren.

Known for his incredible heart, Buster had an innate ability to help anyone he could. He became a cornerstone for those seeking a hand, often offering assistance with a smile and a clever joke. His sense of humor was infectious, creating moments of joy that will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Buster was also a talented cook, best known for the mean breakfasts he would whip up for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. These hearty meals were filled with love, just like everything else he did.

In addition to his culinary skills, Buster embraced life with a passion for teaching. He took great pride in imparting knowledge to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, showing them not only how to work on appliances but embodying the values of hard work and dedication throughout the process. His commitment to family and the lessons he shared will continue to resonate through generations.

Not only was he a dedicated family man, but Buster had an adventurous spirit. He found joy in the simple pleasures—sport fishing for bass and brim, camping under starlit skies, and riding along the Alabama River. Those who joined him on these adventures will cherish the stories and the laughter shared as they created unforgettable memories together.

Having worked as a horse caretaker in his younger days, Buster developed a deep love for these majestic animals that marked his early life and added a unique richness to his character.

As we gather together to celebrate the remarkable life of Clarence Julian “Buster” Warren, let us remember him not just for his accomplishments, but for the big heart he shared so freely and the joyous laughter that filled every room he entered. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched, and we will forever hold close the memories we created together.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jane Warren; children, Lisa (Stan) Newton, Maria (Scott) Edwards, Renee (Eddie) Ash, Lorrie (Gary) Lippeatt, Scott (Nicky) Silvey and Cathe (Brad) Burton; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Lynda McDonald and Pat (Jimmy) Henry and a host of nieces and nephews.
