Claude Holbrook, Sr.

Mr. Claude William Holbrook, Sr. age 84 of Selma, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma.
Claude was born on November 9, 1937 in Greensboro, AL to the late John William Holbrook and the late Nona Rose Holbrook.
Claude retired as the owner and operator of Holbrook Ready Mix.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Willis Holbrook; children, Claude William "Bill" Holbrook, Jr. (Jan), Kimberly Holbrook Wood (Joe), Claudia Holbrook Stewart (Gary), Chad Willis Holbrook (Amanda), and Christopher Wesley Holbrook (Karissa); 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Kay Latham Holbrook.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Denny McLendon officiating.
A private family burial will take place at New Live Oak Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family.
Honorary pallbearers will the be the Deacons of Fairview Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at the Selma Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
