Clay Burns Morris, 85, of Selma, passed away Friday October 19, 2012. Mrs. Morris is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Morris Jr., and daughter Kathy Morris Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Eugenia Clay Morris; sons, Charles Henry Morris III, and John Burns Morris; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00, Monday October 22, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Sid McCollum officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Burns Morris Jr., Walter Lee Jones Jr., Jefferson Morris Jones, John Wesley Cahoon, Ashley Dean Aaron, Jason Randall Bearden, Edward Cary Hixon and Earnest Bishop Rockwell.
